Walnut and Oak - Five Year Warranty

Walnut and Oak is proud of our products.  We design each piece to be a beautiful and functional addition to your home for many years.

We stand behind each of our products with a five year warranty.  Walnut and Oak's warranty does not cover wear and tear, and damage caused by accident or by using the item for other than its intended purpose including pet damage, damage caused by mishandling via transit company, extreme use or abuse, disregard of care instructions and alterations made by a third party. This warranty applies to all Walnut and Oak items purchased directly from Walnut and Oak. While we will take all reasonable measures to provide customers with excellent service, including warranty service, it is at the discretion of Walnut and Oak if warranty work is merited. Contact info@walnutandoak.com. We want to take care of you.

Tolerances:

We build our products right here in our shop in Seattle. Most of our products are wood, which is of course a natural material. This means that there is some tolerance from piece to piece relative to a standard dimension. For some of our products, this is noted on the product description. For our cabinet fronts, we follow ANSI/AWI standards. Allowable tolerances for contraction, expansion, bowing, twisting, cupping and warping are as follows: Up to 12" wide and 20" high = 1/8". 12” to 22" wide or 22" to 44" high = 1/4". Any product exceeding 22" wide or 44" high we endeavor to make as true as possible, but cannot guarantee a specification.

Natural Material:

Wood, being a material from nature, has natural variance in color, grain and texture. These are inherent to wood and part of the characteristics of using a natural material. Variance in these characteristics is not considered a defect. If you have concerns about using real wood for your project, please contact us before your project to starts to discuss considerations for your project.

Returns

Given the nature of the products we produce, the majority of our products are made to order. As such, we are not able to accept returns. We do of course stand behind the products we produce for our customers (see warranty) and will resolve any issues such as shipping damage or production errors as expeditiously as possible.
